I’m very much Agnostic, and for the most part I don’t give a crap about what Dabo said. I thought it was a bit cringeworthy, and rolled my eyes, but that’s about it. Fact is people say cringeworthy things all the time. Dabo could literally stand up there an say he is Lucifer himself… I’d be like 2 Natties and the rest of his stellar record
My thought on Dabo is just win. I don’t care if he worships the Judeo-Christian god, goes to church/temple/mosque, or rolls out prayer rug, as long as he wins. If he does not then that’ll be the issue
I suspect that many of you would agree (even if you don’t admit it), if his record goes upside down we will all be calling for his head

I love the fact he’s a man of Vision and Faith who uses Gods principles for the wisdom to build a culture of Family in our football program.
The fact he stands up for his faith unashamed and takes heat from the unbelievers and misses on some recruits because his faith bothers them, is a bonus for our players become Clemson men who will be honorable in striving to be better and give back daily.
I’m glad these young men regardless of whether they stay or go love Dabo and respect our program & love the family!
It bodes well for our future!

But of course, if he drops down to Tommy Bowden-levels of not-quite-getting-it-done, even though a devout and overt evangelical Christian, he would likely get let go.

Agreed, and that works great as long as said recruit plays well.

Yes winning matters, yet I believe Clemson would not hire an amoral win-at-all-costs kind of coach.
At least I hope so.

Such a hire would alienate a significant portion of the fan base, and financial support of the program would evaporate.
Thank God we live in the Bible Belt, where Dabo can be himself and enjoy the backing of the vast majority of Clemson fans.
