I do! I had that remorse even before the season started -- I told Kendall that I had a feeling we were going to regret not ranking the Tigers. But we wanted to wait and see how the pitching would develop after losing all four of their starters a year ago. That question has been answered emphatically, and now Clemson looks like a complete club that has a real shot to make an Omaha run. Excited to see those guys for myself this weekend against South Carolina, always a great series.

Waaaaayyy to early for these predictions. Let's revisit this in a month. Baseball goes through cruel stretches and we need to see how this team will respond to adversity on a consistent basis.

guessing most don't remember we were 30-5 to start last season. so far however this year our d is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better and our staff is deeper than last year even with losing the weekend starters.

This year's fielding % is .988. Last year's was .970.

Doesn't mean the defense in necessarily better yet though. Early in the season, numbers jump around like crazy. 2 errors vs Winthrop tomorrow and our fielding % takes a big dip. Gotta keep it up

Agree when we start playing ACC teams we will be able tell just how good this team is.
Like we saw last year these early games and midweek games are very important.
Because you can be rolling along and when the teams get better be glad you beat everyone you should have .

Looked great this weekend but won three one-run games against a William & Mary team that got boat-raced at home by Quinnipiac this weekend. Long season with many ups and downs but this team appears to have higher upside than the previous two teams.
