A&M came to play. Our game plan was shaky at best...

Offense was flat. Defense looked lost at times. We appear to be trying to rotate too many people in and out. Would we not be better served to just put the studs in and play them until momentum shifted and we built a solid cushion.
We are four deep at RB and kept running KB.
Boulware and O’Daniel are sorely missed at LB.
Secondary looked inexperienced and lost.
Mond is a beast.
Side note: Holding is not a penalty in the state of Texas.

Can't say to much bad. We really didn't have much game film on them. This is a completely different A&M team than years past & not the same players Jimbo coached last year. We definitely have areas to work on, but we're always learning and trying to get better.
I surely don't want to take a WIN for granted.....

Certainly not. I guess I’m spoiled. Was hoping for better given the talent and expectations.

Super Bowl and you have that bullseye on your back every week. Gotta expect everything including the kitchen sink to be thrown out at you.
Big boy football on the road with no turn overs and a win. Leave everything on the field.
Get to 2-0 some how, some way and continue on the path to 15-0.
That 12th Man is certainly no joke. Mad props to A&M.

4 deep at RB and we keep running the QBs because there is “an extra blocker.”

For all of their great attributes, and there are many, our offensive coaches are stubborn.

Since you weren’t a fan of the game plan, let’s talk X’s and O’s. Help me understand why it was shaky. What offensive formations/motions should we have utilized after you saw A&M’s blitzing packages and coverages? What would have been successful in the passing game after you took notice of their coverages? How would you have advised Venables to defend Fishers highly complex NFL-like offense?
I’m really anxious to hear. You sound really knowledgeable about schemes.

Maybe a RB screen or use the TE drag...both aid in neutralizing a downhill pass rush.....(see aTm game Plan)

We need to start hitting TE's in the seams. That was there at some points.

I would like to see them stick to the RB game when TLaw is in. I think the DBs back off a little. Also, why no jet seeps to Rodgers??? I would also like a few more targets to #5.

Southeastern tiger was being a sarcastic Homer I think. What ya going to say now that someone actually reasoned an answer? That was not a good showing on offense and you can't deny there are ways to creatively exploit defenses that our coaches just aren't doing.
