For the A&M v UGGA bidding war? Or the orange colored popcorn?

From what I read, he was close to Bates and now that Bates is at Oklahoma, Clemson is off his Top 5 list and Oklahoma is on it. If the rumors are true of a NIL bidding war between UGA and TA&M, maybe he's not worth the effort. Money, Money, Money, ...

Correction - Oklahoma may be on the list because of Bates, but I did discover he is a Oklahoma legacy. His Dad played there.

Good, bad, or otherwise, money is part of the equation now and we better get use to it. It's not a knock on the character of these young men to be interested in "earning" money. For some it will be enough to set them for life if managed correctly, even if they never make it to the NFL. I don't like the system, but I would question someone's lack of responsibility to ignore that kind of money.

Why is it everybody thinks we should be in on every 5-star player or that every 5-star player is in on Clemson. No where was Clemson even in his top 5 and if a kid is not interested in us to at least be in the running(which is top 5 in my books)do we really need, or even want him?
I say no. There are other fish in the pond besides this kid and somehow I think our coaching staff knows what we want.

He's a great student. This seems like a solid young man. Great player and student. They aren't good choices for our program? Or you just like to poo-poo everything just for fun?

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

I'm glad someone else read and has the same understanding of what Dabo said and meant about the parents being just as big a part of recruiting as the player.

It was probably only you who took Dabo's words

Feb 7, 2022, 12:21 PM

to mean anything about the parents, especially as a recent phenomenon. Parents always have been and always should be a part of the recruitment of any player. Did we not observe the parent being involved with Nkendiche and Uiagalilei??

Would you not be involved in your child's recruitment process?? C'mon dude, there are good and bad parental involvements in recruiting, always has been and always will be...

With the schools on his list, it’s obvious the family

Would like a bidding war

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

And Arch Manning's family doesn't want NIL money???

Feb 7, 2022, 12:30 PM

EVERY high profile recruit wants to know how they can cash in on NIL money at every school they are considering...

Other than Cade being all in before this took off, what top 30 prospect are we in serious consideration for? Cade, Pride, Sadler, Miller and Sabb were all, All In before NIL became the monstrosity that it is, but look at '23 and see where our best shots are now falling. Just two years ago, we were in serious consideration for at least 10 of the top 30, now, that number is 5 or less...
