A pressing Bored question ...

Jun 6, 2017, 2:55 PM

Tiger Seatbacks ...

Worth it ?
or Waste of $$$ ?

$50 per seems extravagant to me.
(Disclaimer: I'm a cheapskate with no real butt to speak of)

This is really the only reason for them.

We do not get them, but they do prevent your seat from being overtaken by neighbors. If it rains we typically rent seats once at the game so we have a dry seat. You can also fold the seat part under the back rest to keep them somewhat dry when you have to go to the restroom or concession stand.

I think they are great!

Jun 6, 2017, 3:04 PM

Not only do they help on the back when you give yourself a rest sitting down at timeouts, they also cut down on people trying to squeeze in on the bleachers and taking up your seat space. Can't do it when the seat back is strapped down exactly on your seat number!

When you figure the price of tickets and the donation that many of us make to have these seats, individual seats should be provided for the fans who make all this possible. I have fought this war with the powers that be for years and only get laughed at! Many of us pay thousands for a chance to sit on a board for four hours in the sweltering sun, drinking five dollar water and sharing space with a fat a$$ neighbor. College football. I love it!
And I'll be 76 next week and I've been doing this since the sixties. Don't you question my 'fanhood' lol

Worth it.

Especially for sold out games when you got your big boy/girl/other? neighbors beside you squeezing you in. Keeps them in the reserved spot and me in mine.

There is one problem. If you have a big butt there is going to be overhang on both sides of the seat, invading the territory of those sitting beside you. It works both ways. I'm glad I have a small butt. But, or the others ........

Guess everyone needs to run the upper deck stairs before the season starts. And stay away from the Dippin Dots.

Just be aware of a couple of things about them.

1. They are plastic and your bu## and back will sweat like the dickens

2. If you are under the upper deck, bring wet and dry paper towels with
you to each game. They do not get cleaned by any rain or wind if you are
under the upper decks.
