It's called the "TAKE A SQUAT" challenge. It's where you locate the grave of a family member related to an NFL player who kneels during the anthem, TAKE A SQUAT over their grave, and defecate to show your support against Colon and Rectal cancer.
Supposedly, it's not intended to be disrespectful to those who are buried there, but in an effort to raise awareness. I personally think it's a bad idea that will garner the wrong kind of attention from the wrong kind of people. It's regressive and doesn't accomplish anything. It's a bunch of nonsense.
Then again, the NFL players do show an act of disrespect during a sacred moment meant to honor fallen service members. I guess the same respect shall be given that has been offered by those who kneel during a moment meant to be a reflection of honor for those who have defended our way of life. I mean, they think it's cute, fun, and games until they find a turd on grandma's grave.
Of all places that I found out about this idiotic challenge was on LinkedIn. You would think that LinkedIn would not tolerate such filth. I mean, I do not agree with the whole disrespectful kneeling during the National Anthem, but two wrongs do not make a right. Hopefully, this doesn't gain too much notoriety. We've stooped to a new low as a nation if we are actually considering this.

Playing our national anthem before a football game isn't to honor "fallen service members." It's to honor all this great country stands for. The anthem honors all Americans, past, present and future.

I doubt any of the NFL franchises need either you or the president to write their job descriptions for them, they are capable of that on their own. And I am pretty sure that you are NOT required to stand when the national anthem is played at your work, so I am not entirely certain how you, or the POTUS for that matter, are in a place to instruct the employees of the NFL on how to behave. I believe it is outside your purview.

as NFL players are at playing football (their job), you'd probably have nothing to worry about.
Realistically, though, you're probably easily replaceable. You also probably don't have a union looking out for you.

Those who toiled and died did so that other American's who follow will have the freedom to do exactly what the NFL players are doing.

The implication being made is that the living conditions of a less advanced country than the US would allow the protestor a chance to reflect that the US wasn’t quite so bad. If he had said Siberia, would you still be butthurt?

kneeling quietly is generally seen by most cultures to be a sign of respect, but then again this was never about respect and more so the powers that be showing their scorn when players act out. I mean after all, they make millions in the very system they are kneeling to show disapproval over. IF they would just behave and not point out the equities in our justice system, the rest of us can continue to ignore them as well. But now we obfuscate and make this about disrespecting our military, which it is not, and people become more divided and are now bickering over how other people need to behave during the national anthem. I mean when you take a giant step back, this entire thing is absurd, from the manufactured outrage on down.

My issue is that if someone is angry enough to do something like that they are no better than the person they are doing it against. The entire idea disgust me. And frankly, it takes a lot to disgust me.
