NCAA to pull events from States

Apr 13, 2021, 12:34 AM

that limit transgender participation in sports.

I’m pretty good at predicting moves by the socialist party. I give it 3 to 5 years before Universities will be forced to pay for whopping a guys whacker off and installing ##### on those who want to switch sides. Now the boobies won’t go where the whacker was, but u get the picture.

It’s amazing as the things you made fun of 20 years ago as though it could never occur, are now happening in so many aspects of life across this once great country. I’ll say this for the Left, they dream big and rather real or recently installed , have balls much bigger than their right counterparts

The free, fantasy-affirming surgeries are a big part of the push for trans in the military, and ultimately when we have “free” “healthcare” for all. Just a matter of time.

Can’t you just feel the US military getting stronger by the second? Because diversity is our strength. That’s why China is so pathetically weak.

Oh the irony ....

Apr 13, 2021, 1:28 AM

The left spent decades pushing and distorting Title IX in every conceivable way to hurt men and promote all things feminist. Now despite ALL of the science and common sense screaming how dumb, dangerous, and stupid this is, the left in the blink of an eye are going to destroy Title IX and decades of hard work and progress for girls in athletics. We are going to see female participation in sports plummet. No one, especially girls, who are more fragile emotionally, is going to compete in sporting events and bust their ### training only to be completely humiliated. They are not simply going to lose, they are going to get destroyed.

I guess there is a silver lining, libtards will finally learn boys and girls, men and women, are NOT equal and face the reality that boys are in fact bigger, stronger, faster, more coordinated, more athletic than girls.

I suspect within the next 5 years we are going to see TG issues reaching the Supreme Court, which is one of many reasons the Demorats desperately want to pack the SCOTUS and kill the filibuster and destroy other long held legislative protocols. Dems love continually moving the goal posts. To them the ends justify the ends because all they care about is power and control. It has been obvious for decades that the left/Dems don't care about people. Only using and manipulating them for power via identity politics.

Athletic girl-dad here - You mean that if given the option of either:

1) itchin' and bemoaning and worrying about rule changes

vs

2) rolling up one's sleeves and working harder to earn what you hustle for

would any real Clemson family pick #1? I mean #1 is about as cootish as they get.

Last I check, most womens sports are teams so if you are complaining about 1 person taking 1 person's "spot" (and dang that is entitlement there) then you are missing the other 10, 15, 25+ spots on the roster.

Sorry "guys" and "gals" - the government shouldn't be peaking in people's pants and drawing lines. Period. The NCAA should be sticking to finding UNC's lost classes but as an org (right to assemble and petition), they can take a stance on an athletic issue.

Holy cow. I mean just wow. Are you so caught up in defending your whacked out political party that you will bend over backwards and sideways and try to intimate that a man playing a sport on a women’s team won’t completely skew the results of every single game he plays in? What a sick, sick, sick human you are.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: 99% of girls teams in America won’t even

Apr 13, 2021, 8:50 AM

I don't defend my whacked out political party. We have great ideals but rather lousy policy adoption.

Here, I will leave you with a quote from our failed governor's bid:

"It is one of our most sincere convictions that you have a right to live your own life as you see fit, so long as you don’t stand in the way of others doing likewise. To put it simply; Be as liberal as you want to be. Be as conservative as you want to be. Whatever you choose, don’t try to force others to be like you." - DiFliore

You see where I am coming from?

The issue at hand is that places are specifically banning a specific type of person from pursuing an endeavor and that is explicitly government overreach.

The last time I check, transgender athletes are 1 -extremely rare so the point of 99% wont notice, is more like 99.9% Two, transgender have no competitive advantage after transitioning. So for the college athletes, this is almost a non-issue. You don't have a "man" competing on a wonens team, you have a woman competing on a womans team. In addition, natural females can actually still produce more natural testosterone than some natural males and since it is a spectrum range with male/female sports things can and do fall to born natural talents beyond political labels. Thus I don't see folks complaining if a transgender man is playing on a biological male team either. But the issue at hand isn't where transgender exists in sports - it is whether or not government need to intervene.

Now, the biggest issue for me is more at the HS level as there are other inequalities that exist. As I said, there is no advantage post transition. Thus it becomes a question of when that transition happens and the resources to make that transition happen. There is natural inequity there and nor does a HS student have sufficient facilities to make that long-term decision. However, you can't ban someone from sports.

Maybe there should not be men's and women's sports. Maybe there should just be sports. That way you don't have to worry about someone's gender, and at the professional level you don't have to worry about how much the athlete is being paid because of gender - problem solved.

I guess you’ve never been involved in cross county. High school girls aren’t outrunning high school boys period. I’ve watched my daughter compete in sports for years and she lived playing against the boys at a young age and beating them consistently. As they get older it’s not a competition. You my friend are either a moron or never watched boys and girls compete after about age 12

(or formerly guys or whatever you want to call it) compete in women’s sports. However, women’s participation rates in sports isn’t going to plummet because of this like you stated. It’s going to be the same as it was otherwise, because the cases of this coming in to play are so few and far between.

If someone who thinks anatomical males should not be competing with anatomical females in sports is a bigot, then the term bigot doesn't really mean a lot at this point.

This issue is a soapbox one for me and is not going away. I have worked with the high school runners in the past and have sympathy for all athletes. I have been trying to think of ways to satisfy all involved. I am thinking a third group for x x or run the girls in a private league.

That’s a great idea! Perhaps we could also create leagues for people who just aren’t that good at sports, so they don’t feel left out either. Would have been good for me in college.

The goal is to destroy western civilization (the patriarchy). An honest media would want to know where the funding is coming from to wage these legal battles and fund certain organizations.

Since any transgender authority will tell you, as expressed clearly in the former Obama "dear colleague" letter, gender identity requires nothing more than a declaration that one identifies as something else. No doctor's note, medical treatment like hormone therapy, let alone actual surgery! Further, there's no need to dress the part or adopt any specific traits commonly associate with your new gender identity.

In an age where under-15 boys soccer teams are beating the Women's National Team (see USA, Australia), I wonder how long it will be before some guy not-quite-good-enough to play a men's sport (golf team, tennis team, soccer team, ...) will just shamelessly declare that he now identifies as a woman an demands to be allowed to play on the women's team. No one is allowed to dare to question his "identity" even if to all outward aspect he acts like a man, doesn't have hormone treatment, doesn't have surgery. Heck, with gender fluidity, he might even be able to just say "I feel like a woman when I play my sport".

When will some unscrupulous coach just load up his (or her) team with as many such young men, err...young "women" as he (or she) can get to put up the charade? Might we someday soon see a women's final four championship go to a team with no biological women? Image a 7' 1" man-who-identifies-as-a-woman playing basketball in a women's league?

Meanwhile, I don't ever foresee a future where transgender men will ever occupy any position on men's teams, except maybe as a Vanderbilt place kicker. But they're fully welcome to try our for the team and if they have the skills and capabilities, I'll cheer for them if they're on the team I'm rooting for.
