Re: Had lots of friends from Ninety Six growing-up....

I've heard a lot about the 82' team has a senior, cause we were all born in 82'. Everyone in town thought we were the golden class. We went back to state that year, with the legs of Corey Carter, if ya'll know that name. We lost but it's all good. Many of my friends parents where in school in 81', 82', and 83'.

haha, I bet so. I dated a cheerleader while I was in school. Fully understand. I played FB there my sophomore through my senior yr. at least in high school. It was hard to get a scholarship with coach Doolittle, but he was and is a great coach. Just by scheme it was hard.

Yea, good golf course. If you play it too much, it can get to easy. But still descent

Yea...it will never be mistaken for Augusta, but....

Mar 3, 2015, 12:29 PM

My brother played with Corey too.
Hated Hatfield for that. He was the problem with Ronald too. Ronald came in under Ford for one year, & believe he still has freshman records at Clemson.

Re: 96 Wildcat Alumni...Post here!!

Mar 3, 2015, 12:10 PM

I had a roommate from Ninety Six once.

Our cable stopped working one day and we had to call Comcast. The technician comes from up stairs with a disgusted look on his face and gestures for us to come upstairs where this guy was living/where the cable main ran.

He had thrown about 10 full trashbags of garbage in the attic doors and mice had eaten through the main coaxial cable in the process, which is why the cable wasn't working.

I kicked him out.
