Had a friend tell me today was the last day to order tickets through iptay. This can't be right can it?

Thank you for requesting Chick-fil-A Bowl tickets prior to the IPTAY priority deadline. The Athletic Ticket Office is pleased to inform you we are able to accommodate your request. Based on ticket availability, you may order lower level for $90, mezzanine for $90, or upper level for $80. You may now purchase tickets online by logging into your ticket account or by calling the ticket office at 1-800-CLEMSON.
Please note, you will not be automatically charged for the tickets you requested.

7PM was the last time to get IPTAY priority

Based on my conversation with the ticket office they expect the lower and mezzanine levels to sell out but have upper deck tickets left after IPTAY allocation. Unless you have more than 325 IPTAY points you were gonna end up in the upper deck anyway.

While my number of priority points is still less than my age, I was able to go all the way to checkout with 4 mezzanine level seats.
However, I will probably be going the StubHub route since I much prefer sideline seats to endzone seats.

Guess things have changed since I spoke to them today because although I was told it was upper deck or nothing, the online system allows orders for any section.

Thanks guys, my friend has 325+ points and I was going to buy through him since he was not going to go but I guess it will be the stubhub route for me if I still decide to go. The Auburn game was my first game at the Ga Dome and I really enjoyed it so I am working hard on convincing my coot gf that this would be a fun New Years trip.

You certainly have more control of where you sit and to a certain extent how much you pay relative to going through IPTAY. I wish that weren't the case because I would love to have my tickets count against those Clemson needs to sell but my 20+ yrs of IPTAY donations don't get me far enough in the pecking order.

My only issue with the vendors is that Stubhub has the delivery date as December 28th. That's cutting it a bit too close in my book.
