2023 football season preparation officially...

starts on January 11th with the first official team meeting to include the incoming early enrollee freshman.

Men at 25 play football. Men at 40 play tennis. Men at 60 play golf. Have you noticed as men get older their balls get smaller.

Last year you same guys were calling for Elliot to leave because he was a poor “play caller”. He left and now you want him back! Honestly It ain’t the coaches. The Tigers have the talent leadership is a must

Was a Ben Boulware type of player. If you watched the games closely you saw NONE of this. After BB left there was another linebacker in place to assume that role. Remember Skalski? You win with that kind of guy on the field. I thought that Henry would assume that role and he was a positive when he was on the field. Lawrence had that kind of control with the team. As did Watson. DJ certainly did not. You know nothing of football if you disagree with this. You win when you have guys playing who REFUSE to lose. From the sidelines coach V had that kind of impact on the team .

I think that developing leadership is a task assigned to the coaching staff but you really need the right guy(s) in place to make it happen.

If I had the answer to this problem I’d be on the staff. lol

I suspect,without knowing, that the coaches look for this kind of talent when recruiting. It a tough call to make.

I suspect if there are any staff changes it will be very minor. Prepare for the same this year.
