the game before a bye a few times that I recall. In 2017, we had a bye after losing to Syracuse. This year we had a bye after playing poorly in Chapel Hill (a loss per ESPN).
Could it be the guys mentally start bye week a little prematurely?
Hope our boys are focused for the Wake Forest game this year.

You are absolutely correct .... tigerband .... Have wondered the same ... are they shifting into neutral a little early ?? Would agree with my personal experience during exams a few times .... lol.

Well, (cough, cough). They play is such a tough conference (cough, cough), and their academic expectations are so high (cough, cough) that they just need to be able to recuperate, both mentally and physically during the season. It won't matter. Line'em up, and we will knock'em down a few notches, and then we just get to sit back and listen to the excuses.

It’s cute that they give both LSU & Alabama their bye-week this week so that they’re well-rested in their matchup the following week.
