Agreed, 12 years is enough, fire him now!
Again I reiterate up by 2 with 6.7 seconds and you don't make VA Tech earn
every square inch of the court against a Full Court Press and/or Foul at half Court
And put them on the line with 2 shots???? But No Brownell gives them a wide
open 3/4 of court and allows the game winning shot? Totally Inexcusable!
He should be Fired for that alone!

Clemson baseball hasn’t faced a team after 1 month that will sniff the NCAA tournament in baseball. Again, this schedule was set up for a coach needing easy wins and feeling pressure from the administration. This may be a good team or a #3 seed that gets beat again by Jacksonville State in a regional. Wouldn’t get all full of yourself quite yet as I’m sure you’ll be M.I.A. if the preseason predictions are right

While I admit it’s early and who knows how we will finish but how on Gods green earth can you say the schedule up to this point was set up (on purpose) for a coach needing easy wins? USC is a rival and on the schedule every year. They are “suppose” to be a baseball power. While they aren’t anywhere near the 2010-2012 teams they are not considered an easy sweep.
Indiana was not considered an easy sweep either when we scheduled it. They have had some success. And you only have to go back to last year to see us get blasted by USC upstate.
It doesn’t take a baseball Genius to recognize this team is lightyears better than 2021 team.
You insinuating that Clemson set this schedule up to get easy wins to start the year is Ludacris.

Not going to waste time looking back at my old posts, but pretty sure I was still hopeful that Monte could turn it around.
He’s been here a lot shorter than 12 years, and seems like he could be a good fit.

If you can’t get above mid pack at best in a hugely diminished conference after 12 years, then there’s really no case to be made to keep the coach. All that’s left are he’s a nice guy, and the lame excuse that Clemson can’t do better.

Monte Lee needs to win a regional. His team has started out great but, I want to see how he finishes the season.
How many more years should Brad be given? If CBB returns for next season, his team needs to make the tournament.

Never been on the fire Monte bandwagon. Hated last year and definitely wanted to see some improvement as far as strike outs and our ability to manufacture runs improve. I’m not yet sold on we are where I think we want to be but he has not left me with a hopeless we will continue to be average taste in my mouth as of yet.

Could you at least wait till we’ve played an ACC series before you try to give him a lifetime contract. We’ve played the 110th hardest schedule. We’ve won the games we’re supposed to win. We had played 2 complete ACC series at this point in the season last year.

I have never said Fire Lee. He is starting his 7th season,6th if you consider the 2020 season was cancelled, and he made the NCAA regionals in his first 4 years. Why would you fire a guy because 2019 was subpar when most of Brad's tenure has been below subpar.
No, comparing the two is like comparing apples and oranges. And right now one season is off to a flying start while the other ended on a sour note.

Apples and oranges, myself and other fans I know gave Brownell five years before we wanted him gone , after five years it was clear he was not an upgrade from Purnell and was a mediocre coach. We now just finished year 12 at 10th place in the ACC, which is unacceptable by any standard .
I am a Monty supporter, but this year is the year for him to put up or shut up. So far he’s showing vast improvement over last season

Our RPI dropped 17 places after the loss today and Northeastern is the second best team (behind Michigan State which we only played once) we’ve played all season. Anything less than an a perfect start before today and we’d be on the NCAA bubble at the start of ACC play.

I’m ok with Brownell getting one more year if that’s what Neff wants, but I’m gonna be on the fire Lee bandwagon if we don’t make a good postseason showing this year! Brownell is tourney or bust for sure next year too.

I’ll tell you I was not on the fire Lee train but I was Lee is on the hot seat train. But regardless are you seriously trying to compare the Lee situation to the Brownell situation?
Brownell has been here 12 years. 12 YEARS!. But I will say if we don’t have a viable replacement I’m not for making a change just for the sake of making a change.
Lee on the other hand seems to have got things back on track. Also Lee never got to see how his 2020 team would have turned out. But if we were
to crash and burn after a hot start and not host a regional or not make post season then I’ll be on the fire Monte Lee train.
