season against the Tennessee Volunteers. That game resulted in the weirdest final score I have ever seen in a footsball game.
The game ended in a FIVE TO FIVE TIE!
I have never, in all the years, recalled seeing another football score of 5-5, at ANY point in a game.
To say football powers were different back then would be an understatement. Take a look at the rest of these scores.

Clemson 35 Georgia 0 (IN ATHENS!)
Clemson 25 Alabama 0 (At the State Fairgrounds in Cootlumbia!)
