but is it just me or does expanding the CFP just water down those meaningful games during the regular season?
It’s exciting to have no safety net, that game that can make or break you. Now it could be just for seeding purposes, especially regarding the SEC. Doesn’t it take away some of college football’s appeal? It feels like it might take some importance from the regular season. I’m sure it’s gonna bring in more revenue obviously, but I’m just coming from a fan’s pov.

The nfl isnt as good a game, it just isnt. Not to mention there have never been, nor will there ever be 12 teams good enough to win it all. At 12 youre now talking about including teams with 3 possibly even 4 losses?!? Absolutely stupid.

I absolutely agree about there never being that many good teams for a 12 team playoff. 4 seemed like the perfect number.

I wonder how much this will cool down the transfer portal, knowing you’re team(if it was just on the cusp) will change your mind about leaving. The player may be more willing to stick it out.
