1 - 4. Rate the greatest catch, and your reasons

why.
Butler to come from behind and beat USuc..."The Catch." Tuttle to win the 1981 National Championship. Gardner to help us come from behind and beat USUx..."The Catch 2." Renfrow's this year.
My ratings:
1. Tuttle...first Natty. Put us on the map. 2. Renfrow...second Natty. Enough said. 3. Butler...at Willy B. And they had the game won. 4. Gardner...broke their hearts but it was in the Valley.

4. Perry Tuttle against Nebraska. The only reason its not higher... it was not a hard catch, and it was not late in the game. Still, hard to place it here, we won the Natty! 3. Jerry Butler against the chickens...it broke their hearts in millions of pieces, they thought they had us with a big come back...always, always love breaking their hearts! 2. Hunter Renfrow, 1 second left, forever beautiful! That, along with Butler and Tuttle are forever burned into my memory! 1. I know this is going to seem strange.... but that edge of the finger tips catch Jordan Legget made on our last drive...man, I do not know how to explain it! I was going crazy, thinking we were wasting clock... then Legget stretches every muscle and contorts his body and with one big Paw gets his had on the ball and somehow brings it in! WOW, JUST WOW! At that point, no way Alabama was going to stop us, no way we are going to lose that game! Just my 2 cents, great question

Probably kept us out of OT...and kept me from aging about 15 years...(an additional 15 to the 20 I aged during that game anyway)

Was the play of the game, IMO.
We had just burned some 20+ seconds off the clock instead of calling a timeout. This catch set us up for a chip shot FG if we hadn't been able to get one in, but basically gave us a shot to go for it all

Hunter Renfro's catch to win the National Championship. Certainly not the best or most flashy but the biggest on the biggest stage.

If greatest catch is the biggest moment, then it's Renfroe, but that catch wasn't even in his own top 3 best catches and is not his best National Championship Game catch which was made on the TD catch in the 2016 loss to Bama.
If the question is the most spectacular catch at the most clutch time then it's ... #1 Butler, will always be the catch... a crazy athletic game winner #2 I'd call this a tie between Legget and Mike Williams both on the final drive. #3 Tuttle #4 Renfroe vs Louiville

My Top 5 1. Renfrow bc it was the natty winner 2. Tuttle bc again the Natty 3. That Nuk Hopkins catch vs LSU just awesome catch/Garner "the catch vs coots tied for 3rd bc both great catches to beat sec teams and a little brother rival 4. Legget catch on final drive bc it was an amazing catch where he used all his length go get the ball and set us up for the TD 5. Mike Williams diving vs I think scst just bc I love that play and shows type of player mike was going to be his junior and senior year.

had an amazing diving catch, I think at Auburn.
Great topic for down time..
Well, I had to go find it. I forgot we were up 17-0 at Auburn before Cam led them back in OT.
