he's going where he's gonna get paid like the rest of the Dawg recruits.. he's Georgia bound, Kiffin isn't wrong in his statements of recruits are gonna go where they are gonna get paid.

Yes. I'm listening to the gurus on the largest Nole fan website. warchant.com.
They are a combination of disappointment, mad and frustrated.
For whatever reason he decided not to come to FSU, the biggest reason is NIL. I have no idea where JSU is getting the money, but Deion has figured out some way to get it done.
Flipping from FSU to Bama or UGA would at least be understandable, but flipping to JSU makes no sense except for money.
Free agency has officially arrived.
Imagine what would happen if the NFL had no draft, but every kid could sign with any pro team he wanted, and there was no salary cap. Welcome to NCAA.

Dion has been very open about making sure his players are getting paid. I think Jackson State had the very first NIL deals too.

I’d have to think the money is from Deion and Aflac. I’m sure Deion has more brand/sponsor money from other companies but don’t know who they are.

Well, thank goodness it’s not the school that’s paying him.

Could you imagine how bad it would be if the schools had anything to do with paying”NIL” money? But this way it’s totally clean. Players can get what they deserve and nobody can say that schools are “buying” players. It’s so wonderful when charities in Texas have a heart.

It’s a win win situation for the kid. He gets major press and potential sponsors for being the one 5 star to go to a HBCU. Worst case he can transfer anywhere he wants in a year or two.

People flipped out a few years ago when Ed Oliver chose UH

but at least he was a local Houston kid and it kinda made sense.
We have Tillman Fertitta here and there are other very wealthy UH backers. Hopefully we get more 5-stars in the future.
Whatever is going on at Jackson State will come to light fairly soon. This stuff doesn't need to hide anymore.
