When the playoff goes to 12 teams,

do we still put the years on the Valley every year or will the expansion not warrant the years on the stadium anymore? I know the chickens will probably build a monument if/when they ever make the top 12 but what about us?

With the playoffs going to a watered-down version, I don't see that the dates would be necessary bc the room for posting the years would run out pretty quick. Just put all of our playoff dates on like a manageable size billboard displayed in site when walking into Death Valley!!!!

2019 due to the date of the championship.
2020 on the stadium is actually the year LSU won it all.
So 2016 was actually the 2015 season.

I’m pretty certain that those logo’s are actually the logos of the national championship game and not the playoffs. I really believe we have it incorrect to display the ones when we were eliminated in the first round.
I’ve never seen any of those logos on merchandise or stadiums at the playoff site. I’ve only seen them at the actual Natty.

Then we are missing the 2021 season. Assuming it’s an old photo. Clemson has the longest streak record of six straight appearances. On better than Alabama. Go Tigers!

Maybe we could just put up the years we make the final four - you know, for a little consistency.
We might have made the final four a different way, but the accomplishment would be the same.
