RB options?

May 16, 2012, 8:59 AM

Sorry to hear about Bellamy. Seems like the kid had a ton of potential. Best of luck to him in his future endeavors.

Our RB options are?

1. Ellington
2. Brooks
3. DJ Howard

I this right? Who else can fill in a this position?

DJ will be #2 , Hot Rod will play, so will Brooks***

Plus Hotrod McDowell

Don't forget we have several prospects lined up for next season. We should be good! Ellington coming back this year help this situation out tremendously. If he were to leave for the draft last year and this happened, we would be caught with our pants around our ankles.

Forgot about McDowell...

May 16, 2012, 9:17 AM

let's pray the injury bug doesn't bite us this year at the RB position. We really need AE to stay healthy.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Hot Rod is an option, but not one that we would want to

May 16, 2012, 9:04 AM

depend on for meaningful snaps.

The other 3 should be solid backs, though. IF IF IF Ellington stays healthy, we will be more than fine.

That plus the OL is the whole key.

Hotrod is not an inside runner...he gets absolutely crushed

May 16, 2012, 9:05 AM

at the line of scrimmage. I see it as Ellington, Howard, Brooks and McDowell (in that order on the depth chart).

DJ #2,McDowell #3

May 16, 2012, 9:13 AM

Not enough info on Brooks to make that call, IMHO

Re: DJ #2,McDowell #3

McDowell has issues on pass protect, from what I hear. Brooks will come out on top.

This^^

May 16, 2012, 10:09 AM

Brooks is already as big as the other guys... good hands and a passcatcher (usually hand in hand with ball security).

I expect brooks to show a lil fire this fall.

This may sway Kamara to committ******

May 16, 2012, 9:27 AM

I don't care about Kamara. I want Derrick Green, then whoever else wants to sign on would just be a bonus. We already have Gallman.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I'll take Green and Kamara!! Nothing wrong with stacking up

May 16, 2012, 9:54 AM

on RB! Isn't that right, UGA? haha

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yea, we can always use some DB's ^^***
