this year, we'd be in the playoff.
Of course, Rattler has no OL and no WRs at SCar. Great pickup for SCar, though. They've never had a 5 star QB before that I can remember.

Rattler looked worse than Dj this year. We might have loss more games with him at qb. Both played worse this year than they did last year. But DJ never quit, never made any excuses, and played hurt. If that don’t get you fired up as a fan I don’t know what will. Hopefully he has a nice performance in the bowl game.

Please stop. Rattler completed 75% of his passes this year and is on a completely different level than DJ. You must be watching a different QB. We had the #3 ranked scoring defense and could barely win half our games. He's about to be a JR and still ranked in the bottom of the country.

Are you really this dumb? They benched rattler for the better QB who is currently ranked 5th in the nation as a freshman. Rattler is still a top 50 QB and rated 32 in the nation.
Its the same thing when we benched Kelly Bryant for Lawrence. Do you really not understand how any of this works?

It’s not the same thing. You are the moron if you are comparing rattler to Kelly Bryant. Bryant never had the accolades rattler had. Rattler was supposed to be the better QB. He was the number one dual threat in 2019. He loss his job because he sucked this year. He will suck next year too.

Seriously, how old is Joyner? Bentley is the one that was perpetually one year removed from high school. Joyner is the one who is quickly approaching 30 years of age. Kudos to him sticking it out waiting for the coots to let him play QB like they promised.

75% completion.
DJ was 187/342 54% completion.
Rattler had a 155 passer rating vs 109 for DJ.
I think DJ has a higher ceiling, but I think we for sure beat UGA and NC ST with Rattler. I think we still probably would've lost to Pitt because the Pitt game was more about the dropped passes. Even though DJ did hand them the ball with the most inexplicable shovel pass I have ever seen in my entire life.
**All this assumes that Dabo could've gotten Rattler to "buy-in" which has basically never been a problem at Clemson for QBs.

Rattler also plays in the big12 that has no defense. Dj had no help all year. Tell me if Oklahoma at anyone will swinney caliber starting the last 2 games of the year? Ngata was his best target but got hurt. Williams hurt. Ross hurt. It’s easy to blame DJ because he was the one constant piece. Tell me what rattlers excuse was? He did he have hurt?

You think DJ would have been better surrounded by our talent in 2018?
Let's face it, our offense was a train wreck except at RB and TE apart from DJ. I think it's measurably improved next year. Actually like our OL with guys healing and the experience gained this year. WR improved when everyone was hurt but the Collins pair finally started to get comfortable. Really like both of them.
With what should be a much better supporting cast, how much do DJ's numbers go up?
And if he can't cut it, we have a legit option in 2022

I know, easy to cut on uof8c but Shane's a force to be reckoned with. He'll build a team. I predict it'll be as good if not better than spurrier. Actually winning 6 games this year with what muscoot left them and decommited, left, injuries etc was a testament on Shane and staff. Hey, if he's good enough to be Dabo's friend, that's good enough for me. Got to trust Dabo.

what little talent they had, most of it is leaving. You can't build through the portal, but he has no choice as he's not getting elite HS talent. Good talent, but players who will need time to develop. And Lord help him if Bama moves to the East

We ll know alot if beamer flips a few kids this week. Rattlers like baker Mayfield or Johnny football. Alot of players like to play with a QB that carries himself like that.
If some players flip to Columbia I ll be more worried. If not, that will say alot.
All these players talk and text. Their behavior this week will say alot. If no one else comes I d say he's a bust. If a few follow I'll be pissed.

Rattler will fail. It’s just the South Carolina way. A QB surrounded by 3 stars will not fare very well. Congrats to Rattler for thinking he has found a place he can play but the truth is they do not have anyone else. It’s all good. When SC starts pulling 3-4 of the best recruits out of SC then you can say they have something brewing in Columbia, but as of now if they did not have 20 plus recruits they are not in the top 20. South Carolina is irrelevant right now. Wish Clemson people would stay focused on Clemson. They have done nothing to cause them to be living rent free in your head. Just my opinion do what you want but save your self some stress knowing SC will be SC and that is average.

When SC starts snagging 3-4 of the top recruits in the state of SC then you will know something is brewing in SC.
Rattler is going to a place with low expectations. Can’t deal with competition is my guess.
