Instead of massive conf. realignment, what if the ACC, BIG10, Big 12, and PAC 12 entered into a legal agreement to prohibit member schools from competing in football with all SEC teams. This would leave the SEC vs SEC and Group of 5 for TV game inventory. Kind of tough for the SEC to be in a playoff with no real partners.
Who would be interested in bowl/playoff games between conference teams?? We already hear the TV folks saying Clemson/Bama every year is not good for the playoff viewership due to fatigue.
Not sure if it would be legal, but it could be an interesting story to add to the national discussion.
But it was great for them when it was two SEC teams playing for the BCS NC... They are saying that BS now bc a little ole school in the corner of South Carolina is competing at a higher level than most teams. And we have beat Bama two out of 4 times for the NC, and showing that we're not about to go away any time soon, and that is what they're tired of bc it wasn't suppose to ever happen that way, and especially after they all laughed while making every rude comment about Dabo and saying that he was the worst hire that Clemson had ever made. And Dabo has made sure that those people will never get that egg of their faces!!!!
