QUOTE FROM A GEORGIA COACH ABOUT CLEMSON

It was obvious that the majority of the Clemson folks on this board DID NOT want my inside information regarding Georgia and their preparation for the Clemson game. All good and I understand 👍
However, for the many on here who have reached out to me with words of praise and respect, I did want to pass on a rather telling quote from a Georgia coach that an insider told me.
“The Clemson game is going to be a knife fight in a phone booth.”
Take it for what you want, but I think the Georgia coaches realize Clemson is a good team and this game means everything for Dabo and the Clemson program.
Before the game, I will provide a complete game analysis with point spread range but it is still too early.
Solid 38-37-75 at Boscobel.

they will be irrelevant with a loss
much like UGA in 2021
it'll be fun
but administration and IPTAy got us here
the hill is empty now . the parking is not there . the team is barely winning rings since covid
if you regular games , you know the energy is completely dead and only flashed up vs FSU and briefly vs ND in 2023
BV and Rad left for a reason
can Dabo turn it around ? Kirby Smart has been in nattys sikce 2009 . it'll be a knife fight but Clemson needs more than a knife
that's just fact
Freshmen takeover can compete in this game . upperclassmen Clemson cannot

Nike, have you ever gone to a Clemson game? I have been to games for 60 years and The Hill has only been full for games like Georgia, Florida State, South Carolina and especially Notre Dame the few times they have been in town. You need to appreciate where we are and the wins, ACC and National Championships we have won but understand that NO team will ever win a Championship ever year.

This is just inherently false. While I am much younger than you and have only been going to games for thirty years, those are not the only games the hill has ever been full for. Before the last few seasons we seemed to never have an issue filling up the hill no matter who the opposition was.

Are you kidding, Nike? A Clemson loss would be bad, but we certainly wouldn’t become irrelevant. It’s all about winning the conference. If we win the ACC, we are a top 4 seed no matter where the polls rank us.

That is the part of the fun of a message board. I think this will be a tough opener for the Tigers, but they will be up to the challenge. Defense "should" be good but a lot of young talent that needs to get that first hit to realize it is show time.
Offense is a big unknown at the moment. We SHOULD be good enough to score plenty of points with Cade slinging the ball around and Mafah at tailback. I need to see what we got with our receivers. Can they get any separation on the dawg DBs. Can they elevate to get the ball like Tee Higgins and Justin Ross used to do. Can the OL protect Cade and give him enough time to get the ball downfield. Does Cade stop scrambling for his life at the first sign of pocket collapse and step into the pocket to sling the ball.
A lot of unknowns. Our kicking game is a huge question mark. Does this game come down to a FG attempt late in the 4th? DO we have a kicker that can launch one longer than 30 yards for a FG. Lot of questions that will be answered in the opener.
Hopefully everyone comes out of this game healthy and the Tigers will be on their way to a great season. That is why we play the game.
Go Tigers!!!

I can't speak for everyone, but I'd love to hear your insight. Civil discussion between different fanbases is one of my favorite things about sports (emphasis on the "civil"). Talking with opposing fans helps each of you learn more about the other team: what their strengths and weaknesses are, players to watch out for, strategy, etc. In my opinion, games are much more fun to watch when you know about the players, strategies, history, and tendencies of both teams. This is because it gives you a better appreciation and understanding for all the nuances of what goes on during the game. So while I'm not a Georgia fan, I do hope you'll share, because I'd still be interested in what Georgia's game plan is coming into this game, where they think their strengths and weaknesses are, what they expect Clemson to do, and perhaps some players to watch out for.

I'm not the OP, but I'll start off. The strength of our team will be the OL. It's very possible that our starting 5, plus at least 2 backups, will all play in the NFL. Behind those 7, we have a bunch of guys who are mostly untested, but highly touted. Should be a battle to watch within the game going against your DL. Despite losing our top 2 rushers from last season, they will have a very deep RB corps to block for. Roderick Robinson has been opening some eyes in Fall camp. Has a great combination of size and speed. Branson Robinson (no relation) is a big bruising guy in the same mold as Mafah, and has made tremendous strides coming off a tricky patella injury. Watch out for Freshmen Nate Frasier, Dwight Phillips, and Chauncey Bowens, and there's the always underrated Cash Jones. Our WR corps may be the deepest it's ever been. We don't have the one superstar, but we've got a lot of more than capable guys. Our leading wideout returns in Dominic Lovett, who looks to have a breakout season. Transfer Colbie Young is a big, physical, chain mover, who brings lots of experience and dependability to the room. Dillon Bell flashed in several games last year, and is a triple threat as he scored TDs receiving, rushing, and passing last year. He's looking to fill a bigger role this year. Arian Smith is an absolute speed burner and is a threat to take it the distance whenever he's on the field. Anthony Evans looks to build on a promising Fr season, while several highly touted newcomers have looked good in camp. At TE, we will miss Brock Bowers, but we have plenty of talent to fill in. Oscar Delp is one of the better TEs in the country, and transfer Yurosek has been turning heads all Fall. We have very solid depth behind them in Lawson Luckie and Jaden Reddell. Then there's Carson Beck. A potential Heisman candidate and first rounder. Our offense should present an interesting test for your very capable defense.
On defense, we do not have the interior DT strength we had in 2021-2022, but we do have a lot of experience and depth. It'll be DT by committee. But pretty much every other position group has as much as if not more talent as those ballyhoo'ed units. Mykel Williams is one of the better DE's in the country, and Chaz Chambliss is a high motor guy. There's very little drop-off among the 4 or 5 guys behind them in Damon Wilson, Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins, Gabe Harris, Samuel M'Pemba and Joseph Jonah-Ajonye. At LB, Small Mondon plays in another gear, and CJ Allen is very much in the mold of Roquan Smith & Nakobe Dean. Jalon Walker, Raylen Wilson and Troy Boyles all have NFL potential. Our secondary will be vintage UGA with Malaki Starks and Dan Jackson at safety, being pushed by All-Everything KJ Bolden. CBs Daylen Everette and Julian Humphrey are as good a lockdown duo out there with Daniel Harris pushing for PT. All-Everything Ellis Robinson is making a lot of noise in camp as well. And lastly, we have some freakish athletes at Star in Joenel Aguero, JaCorey Thomas and Kyron Jones. I think this defense has the potential to give your offense fits. It should be a good one.

But that's because they are the one program that really has Clemson's number. No one else can say that. Not FSU. Not NC State. Certainly not UofSC. But yeah Georgia can. I'd love for that to change, but it's not likely anytime soon. I think Kirby has a mountain of respect for Dabo, and Dabo likewise for him. It will be a good game for a while. I just hope we can hang in there for 4 quarters and see if we catch a break late in the game.

Every Tiger fan w a brain knows this will be a knife fight. It’s weird how some act like Clemson is a mid major, like there is no chance. Sad they believe what all the hack writers are trying to speak into truth- that it’s over for Clemson bc of the portal. Real stupidity.

As much as I dislike your Dawgs, you seem ok.
Keep posting as you do not do anything other than hurt some feelings or push some buttons of those who are a bit high strung and take things too seriously.
I have always accepted coach-speak for what it is, just pre-game banter. Nothing really more, obvious respect among coaches for opponents is a must so this is just niceness before the fight.
I see 1 of 3 outcomes... Clemson narrow win, Georgia narrow win, or Georgia taking the Tigers tail and smacking them with it lol. Just my opinion and I love my Tigers.
