Quite the conundrum: Like Texas A&M but hate Jimbo

I went to see Clemson play Texas A&M many years ago at College Station. Even though we lost, I have never met a more welcoming group of fans. They were 1st class all the way.

I know I wasn't the only Clemson fan to notice this. I even saw some Clemson fans shopping for Texas A&M gear after the game. Crazy stuff. I went to that midnight yell thing - it was weird but I digress.

But anyway, I've always pulled for them kinda just thinking of and remembering their great fans. Now they are in the SEC and hired a coach I despise - Jimbo Fisher. Now on top of all that, they are basically buying recruits at will.

I am pulling against them tonight. I hate it but I can no longer pull for Texas A&M.

Do any other Tiger fans feel the same way?

Nah I want them to lose and there in no conundrum. I think Jimbo sucks. Also, the way theybdominated recruiting I want to see them fall apart so maybe that will slow their recruiting.

despite liking their fans b/c of Fisher so I get it. And yeah all their tradition things are super weird from the outside, especially having been subjected to them as a parent. I do get how well that binds them though.

I'm like you on that. As far as the old game. it was as hot and humid that day as I recall. But fun to see Kyle Field
