That kid is going back TX. Part of the reason he's leaving is he was homesick. He is not coming to Clemson...case closed.

No chance. Not only is he homesick, but his NiL deal requires a certain number of starts in 2022. Word is that he told aOSU this, they obviously wouldn't promise that, so he walked. Therefore, he has to go somewhere that he is just about guaranteed to start next year. With Klubnik coming in, that's far from a sure thing.

My guesses.
He obviously wants to start next year. He's from Texas.
I would list his 3 most likely destinations being, in order:
1. Texas
2. aTm (Never underestimate Jimbo's ability to recruit.)
3. Ole Miss (What QB wouldn't want to play in his offense?)

IDK, Klubnik seems to have that "it" factor, he is a gamer and has all of the tools. I expect DJ will be much improved next year and will hold onto the job, but that is impossible to tell until Cade gets here in the spring.
DJ played a lot better in the last couple of games, he showed a lot more touc,h his mechanics seems to be improving, and he was more decisive in his throws. people also forget he was playing with a sprained finger in his throwing hand and had a bum knee on the leg he plants.

He's chasing NIL money so no chance he comes here where he wouldn't be guaranteed anything. Also it appears he has issues that would probably be a net Negative to the team so we probably wouldn't want him anyway.

My money would be on A&M, USC, and Ole Miss. USC would be an ideal fit he would pretty much start day 1 for a building team with lots of NIL money.
