The mass shootings keep happening because the country has failed repeatedly to adapt to the reality of the situation.
Remember this (print it on your forehead): GUNS & AMMO of all kinds aren't going anywhere, ever!
Remember this: schools with millions of students aren't going anywhere, ever!
Remember this: Mentally ill, evil people, aren't going to go away, ever!
So, what do we do, given the above? WE ADAPT TO THE REALITY.
We make a commitment as a country to protect our students, especially the most vulnerable>
That's the easy part: Turn our schools into 'fortresses'. We arm trained guards with automatic rifles (and pistols). Teachers that are trained should be armed in their classrooms. Classroom doors should be locked at all times, and impenetrable! Bullet proof glass on all external windows. Consider high fences, even with razor wire, around the schools.
I'm also very much in favor of addressing mental health issues with at risk individuals, social platforms, etc. as an adjunct. But without providing protection at the end point, these are issues of less importance.
One recurring problem is the left's obsession with attacking Pubs and the gun lobbies! Divisive and a waste of time. America is tired of their embarrassing, hate-filled histrionics designed for political gain!! Grow up Dems!

That is precisely your issue. You struggle on here to form remotely cogent thought because you don't get the benefit of performing. repetitively, and only rarely chime in to other people's thread that you don't start. You don't care about debate, or learning, or sharing ideas. You are just desperate for attention.
I think you could really benefit from seeing a shrink to help walk you through end-of-life anxiety. If you've accomplished as much as you say you have in life, you should not have such a clinical need to be seen and heard.

Why do you even post on TigerNet? You've made it clear that you have no interest in anything close to thoughtful exchange. The posts you start don't ask questions, or present any new information. All of them are rambling streams of consciousness, barely coherent, on recycled topics. When you're not posting new threads, you rarely engage elsewhere. And when you do, it is mostly of the same style.
When you get challenged, you immediately revert to declaring victory rather than offering a genuine response.
Your entire presence on here is to talk, not to listen. And, you do it in bulk, each and every day.
Do you ever bother to examine why you're like this on here?
Does posting this style give you the satisfaction of being heard, and the fulfillment of winning? Heck dude. You're on your way to France, but instead of reading a book, or the news, or sitting quietly and reflecting on your upcoming trip, you're once again dribbling over your keyboard.
What aren't you getting in your offline life that you feel like you have to subsidize by this persona online? Figure that out as quick as you can.

All students should also carry a side arm. Loaded AR's should be hanging in every classroom and hallway right next to the fire extinguisher so the nearest student/teacher can fire back with something more deadly.

Bullet proof vests and helmets as well. Maybe some German Shepard in the mix. Each one of those kids should also be a black belt by the age of 8.
