Quick baseball note / pitching rotation

Monte said last night that Jackson Lindley will start tonight against Furman. There are weekend rotation changes as well for this weekend - Davis Sharpe will pitch Friday, Mat Clark will go Saturday, and Askew will pitch Sunday.

Clark is the most interesting to me.

He has been very good out of the bullpen.

Hopefully he can turn that into 5 or 6 innings in a start.

The freshmen just need to keep getting more innings.

Hopefully they will get better each time out versus good competition.

Hope Clark is successful because he has pitched well and appears to be very good at keeping hitters off balance. That being said I really think he is best suited to come out of the pen for two to three innings. Really question whether he can go through any lineup,especially one that is righty dominant,more than once.

I’m pretty happy with this rotation. We are playing the 5th ranked team. It’s a good time to experiment. And hopefully get lucky

Love to watch Clark pitch --really has command of his pitches**

Sharp & Askew, both throw some awesome stuff,but may need help from the coaches choosing pitches ??

My first thought is how much better our bullpen just got with Crawford. We have setup men and closers for each weekend game
