Question: Should Clemson want Bama upset?

While everybody is talking about a repeat championship I have one thought. Does Clemson have a better chance to win out if Alabama were to look ahead and get upset?

Although Clemson or Ohio State could each beat Bama, it seems the CFP and ESPIN want no alternative outcomes. Personally all I want is a Tiger national championship no matter the opponent! If not Alabama who would Tiger fans desire to beat otherwise? Just some thoughts in the aftermath of another ACC title.

Yes.... Always root for the weakest possible opponent to advance in tournament format.

Bama loses to Washington, and we beat Washington, the best we could hope for would be 2nd place with Bama taking the title.

I'm sure that there really isn't much thought given when you have a game to win yourself. If we had a bye or something, then it would be in our minds
