Question for you NBA fans

Jun 9, 2017, 10:56 PM

Watching some of game 4 tonight, and wondering-Do they play defense in the NBA? So painful to watch, looks like street ball...

I'm not a big NBA fan but looks like there's been a foul on every play , the refs are letting them play .

NBA ball will definitely put you to sleep. Boring!***

Agree mostly. But last night was awesome.

The score may not indicate, but it was physical, intense, and a lot if defensive effort,

Regular season it would not have been,as good a watch.

But with the stakes available, not a bad way to spend a couple of hours staring at the screen.

Defense!Heck,I don't even think they play Zone Defenses, let alone defense.
No,the NBA is all about scoring.Any,or at least most games under a 100 points is considered boring by most.

Exactly, and that is why I totally don't like NBA basketball. These players are suppose to be the best of the best to play the game, but you will never see games with scores of 70-68 and so on. And when they have guys with as much talent as they are suppose to have, it would seem that scoring would be even more difficult to do than it is in college where they play amateur basketball. Now TD dat who ever you are that TD ed my other post on this subject of the NBA. For me, watching women compete in Badminton would still be my choice over the NBA....?? Face of rolling on the floor laughing my A$S off @ who ever you are. ;)

Games 1 and 2 GS played some crazy D. I DK how the Cavs did what they did tonight. Maybe give their O credit. Or maybe you could go out there and guard better than the Warriors did.

Cavs played hard, surprised all. Might have it in em'. Just when you thought sweep, then this happens.

They needed to win game 3 and let if get away. You never know though they are back to where they were last year. I hope they can get 3 in a row.

A lot like WWE now...rigged.
Should have been over tonight but why lose millions by playing only four games...?

Yea...not gonna happen. This series is over. Cleveland fought hard because they didn't want to get swept. It was about pride. GS simply went through the motions. They would rather close out at home. A LOT of things fell Cleveland's way last year for the comeback. I mean A LOT. It won't happen this year. Warriors by double digits in Game 5.

talent in NBA history. It is great, Appreciate it. Lebron's powerful dunk in game 1 first quarter was the powerful dunk I have ever seen. I am a Laker fan and I am old school. I grew up with season tickets in LA for showtime, but the NBA is good again. You want to see great players? They are there now

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I agree. Last night was great

Jun 10, 2017, 9:47 AM

I don't watch a lot of NBA, and last night was worth my time.

That was Clevelands championship game. They exerted a ton of energy and had to have a record setting night to beat those guys.

Durant, James, Irving...what great performances.

Played basketball but don't watch the NBA. It's not really basketball because they play by another set of rules. Players constantly walk, palm the ball, and double dribble. They are professionals but they get 6 fouls instead of the customary 5. The fouls are called at times that make the game more entertaining. It is scripted basketball. As you can tell, I will be glad when the last play is over and something else will be on T.V.

I haven't watched NBA for 20-40 years (can't remember watching to be honest). I remember watching Wilt Chamberlain (Phil) and Bill Russell (Celtics) play, so that's the last time. I was young and didn't know any better than to waste my time watching that nonsense.

College BBall ain't any better IMO. Especially our team. They look like they have never learned the game. Maybe it's our coaching - or lack thereof.

I don't watch a ton of NBA, but last night was embarrassing for me to watch. The blatant no calls on Clevland and calling everything on GS. I wasn't terribly surprised considering the past with shady officiating, the refs getting paid per game instead of per series, and the fact that the NBA makes 45 millions dollars for each extra game.

That game was rigged they knew who was going to win from the get.
They just want one more game back out west.
Think of the money lost if they don't play atleast one more game??
