Question, for Tiger fans who went to Orange Bowl in 2011...

If by chance we do end up returning this year.
Anyone have any Hotel advice? Hoping for a relatively reasonable rate, but first trip to Miami, so would like to be near "everything" if possible.

name of the hotel. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT, ride on one of the buses from the hotels to the game. There is PLENTY of parking at the stadium. The bus was late as all heck leaving after the game, and was 1/2 full of drunk #@$# WVU folks. They wanted to stop and pick up a couch on the way back to the hotel. The game was bad enough, but the ride back to the hotel was worse.

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Bonaventure in Weston. Was in a nice area about 25 miles north of the stadium. Hotel was nice and reasonably priced.

I stayed at El Palacio Sports Hotel. Not the greatest but no major complaints. I walked to game and back. Of course the walk back was not fun. There is a shuttle to and from for $15 round trip if you don't want to walk. I plan on returning if we go back to Orange Bowl.

were at the Harbor Beach Marriott in Ft. Lauderdale.
I had to cover my coffee at Starbucks to keep Granny Clampett from slobbering in it. He's about 4' 10" too... it was funny.
Nice place and good location... recommend.
