being a devoted father and husband. Working hard half a year. Making frugal decisions like pallet decks. Only rebel rousing I do is poker once a week and drinking my beer and dark liquor.

At some point #### is going to get to me and I'm going to make a dumb, dangerous purchase.

When exactly is midlife...and how does one know?

What constitutes the crisis?

Which leads to this question: If it's a crisis, how does one have sufficient funds for such a 'therapeutic (?)' purchase? Does the 'rainy day' fund get tapped? Rain is a crisis?
