Question about Dish TV.

Getting ready to boot Direct TV. Any thoughts, guidance, experience with Dish TV? TIA.

raising the price - became way too expensive IMO. I switched to YouTubeTV last year and love it -pay $50 a month now - really do like it - get local channels plus ACCN, ESPN, etc. and plenty of good other channels/networks.

Had both, liked Dish TV a little better but ultimately both are overpriced. Went with cutting the cord with Youtube TV and never been happier.

and it was okay. My biggest complaint was that they would not have various channels for months at a time because “they were in negotiations” with the channel company. This happened numerous times. CBS was missing for 5 months, and all fox sports channels were missing for several months when I switched. Since I mainly watch football this was a huge inconvenience.
Also, a lot of times when it rains, the service goes out. Although, that also happens with Direct Tv and streaming options.
They did offer decent channels and the discounted introductory rate is not terrible but after the initial period, the price goes up a good bit.

Cut cable 2 years ago - i use a streaming service i paid about 45 for the year - get anything and everything I could ever want.

not have a bill come Christmas time. I know I can save the money but something will take it.
Anyway, my Dish bill went up without notice so I called DISH to find out why. The only reason they gave me was that since I paid extra each month, they charged me more. Made no sense to me. Even spoke with the CSR's supervisor and got the same answer. Told them to come and get their Shyatt right then.
