He'd said 17 in June. He mentioned more in December but added a caveat that it was a fluid situation since he didn't know who was going to declare or who was going to use covid year. Either way, we still need 11 to get to 85.
Most years, the two offered today most likely would have been a pwo.

Rivals has him 3 but you're right, the composite in 247 is 4* as well as their own rating as a 4. ON3 has him listed as a 4 * as well.
247 has 100% cb to south carolina as well as on3. But on3 only listed as 37% to coots. Obviously this was all b4 we offered as none list us as yet to offer.

won't improve the class rating.
Have to hope the coaches can coach some of these kids up.
And that in the future, the coaches adjust the way they recruit to keep up with the changing times.

If a school doesn't have millions of dollars available for NIL money, the coaches better be good at developing and coaching up 3 and 4 star recruits.

0 for every empty spot up to 20 in a class so heading. It’s a absolutely stupid that they do that because not everybody has 20 to give out in a given year. But they do and that Carrie’s a heavy albatross on your rivals rank and this the 247 composite. I think our Rivals rank went from 38 to 29 with the 2 3 stars today. If we take 6 more guys we’ll probably be top 10 and it won’t matter if they or 3 stars. If we land a few 4s in there as I expect then you’re potentially talking higher. Also wouldn’t be surprised at some guys like Williams getting bumped up even further based on all star performance

Clemson is trailing in the rankings.
We have the #5 class right now in average 247 Composite individual player rankings ...
But, we are #25 simply because we don’t have the total number recruiting services want to see.
Adding 3-star players will most definitely boost our ranking.

If we sign more 3* and 4* players our ranking will go up.
Not that a ranking dictates how we'll do on the field. Look at the 4-5 classes behind the 2016 and 2018 national championships. We won national championships without top 4 or whatever signing classes.
We win with good coaching and culture, with a mix of good athletes. We have proven we don't need a history of top 5 classes to be successful at the highest level.
