There are a lot of old-school Russians who miss the power and fear that accompanied the hammer & sickle flag. They won't give up easily.

Not sure that our sanctions are strong enough to give that extra push to the citizens to spring into meaningful action. I guess we'll see. He doesn't seem like he would step down willingly.
