By not putting the hammer down and keeping our foot on the throttle, we have let teams get way too close for comfort in the end. Most years we have given up losses because we let teams hang around rather than putting them away for keeps. Cases in point Pitt, Syracuse, and I can name many others, but those come to mind. So many games became squeakers that should have been blow outs. The polls reflect that lack of killer instinct this week.

But the Tigers won the National Championship that year! These ugly wins have not kept the Tigers out of the CFP the past 3 years. Even with 2 ugly losses they still made it. No need to worry about the polls right now.

Tigers let A&M off the hook at end of first half...let em back in the game especially with that god awful defensive secondary in 2nd half...
