DS make it clear yet that purple uniforms will stay on the shelves?
The only times you'll see purple is in practice or off the field somewhere - DS has said we're going to wear our traditional uniforms in games and that doesn't include purple.
Let it rest.

Do remember him saying it was the color of royalty and our players had to earn it. Also wore purp at the Championship Trophy presentation.

I bet we see purple at some point this season.
Dabo said LAST year that they were going more traditional. He didn't mention anything like it for this season.
I don't know if we'll see all purple or not, but I wouldn't bet against seeing it in some way this year. Maybe white jerseys / purple pants?
I wouldn't mind purple jerseys / white pants for one game. I've always liked that look (first saw it at Homecoming 1992 vs. Duke).

Like I'd ever pull for one of them. I'm a lifelong Clemson fan, and I like purple. It's a school color, so if you are so offended by it, perhaps you need to pull for another team.

Tigers aren't purple in my world. (sorry)
I think Clemson football should go with solid white helmets (with an orange stripe and black paw stickers to denote accomplishments)
They could wear orange home jerseys and all white away. (with black numbers to mimic stripes on a tiger) This would allow the players and fans to wear the coolest
color possible (white) when it is hot/humid as well as create a recognizable brand.
This would also help market Clemson better IMO as we are the only University that runs down a hill as an entrance. (a stripe) Clemson was also a military college and it's founders selected a Tiger as the mascot. Therefore, I think the stripe makes a lot more sense (in terms of marketing) than the paw or purple.
just my opinion.
