Seriously, the seating capacity at Cameron is just over 9g. I would rather have a smaller and louder venue that the monstrosity that USuCk is forced to play in. I think the new seating will be fine and the renderings look like things will be done right the second time around.

although the lower (expensive) seats didn't get filled up until about 10 minutes into the game.
I guess if you donate enough money to sit down low and have a numbered parking space then you don't bother to show up on time.
Clemson should implement a policy that if you aren't in your seat at tip off, your seat is free to the first person who claims it, that way we don't look so terrible on TV. The big-time donors who don't care that much about basketball can sit and not pay attention to the game just as easily from the nosebleed seats as they can from the premium ones.

The attendance issue has nothing to do with the structure

It has everything to do with the product on the court. When we are good it is packed and loud. When we are bad it's not. Building a really nice facility isn't going to change attendance one bit.
