Here is a snapshot of the green light coming from the shoulder pads of an Alabama player prior to them leaving the tunnel. For those thinking it is a laser pointer - it ain't as it was a rhythmic flashing and stayed in the same spot on his uniform relative to his movement and from the video was obvious that it was coming from underneath his uniform.
Any idea what they had this guy wired up with?

Did a quick internet search on it and found only one article that mentions it , but the author was only also asking if anyone of his readers had an idea of what it might be .
It's no laser pointer , as you can clearly see that the bottom of the circle of green light is evenly blocked by the letter on his jersey .
Would love to know what that is .

Kaylee Hartung (sp?) talked about the GPS systems Bama was using.,, but I thought that was only during practice, not sure though. They were used to track explosiveness of movements to gauge how tired the team was during bowl prep, and consequently how hard to push the team. Maybe they're really just fancy accelerometers.
