Along the lines of "little things", we all have movies that

Oct 14, 2021, 9:31 AM

we will stop to watch if we are channel surfing, no matter how many times we have seen them. I actually have too many, it is a sickness, I suppose. A few of them, although not all inclusive...

Forrest Gump (No explanation needed, one of the best movies of all time.)

Saving Private Ryan (The most accurate portrayal of the horrors of war that I have ever seen onscreen.)

Pulp Fiction (Tarantino at his warped best)

The Notebook (Yes, it's a chick flick, but the acting rises above the formula here.)

What are some of yours? No judgement here, just wondering how my film tastes line up with other TNetters.

Yep, "Remember the Titans" for sure. First viewed it on a plane flying from the West Coast to Asia. Watched it 2.5 times on that flight. Great movie.

For us old timers, how about "The Last Picture Show", filmed in black and white? Liked it so much I
stopped by the actual theater building shown in the movie, in Archer City, Texas, one driving trip.
