Georgia was out of time-outs. All we had to do was do what should happen 90% of the time and recover an onside kick. Oh, and I'm sure there are fans whining about how we didn't throw for a first down the time before when we had the ball. If we'd thrown for a first down and it had been incomplete, Georgia would have wound up with about 2:30 minutes of game time left, after their score. We would have had to get at least one first down with the ball, or been forced to punt, deep in our side of the field. Ultimately, the right plays got called.
But in our circumstance they moved the ball 65 yards in 1'06" for an almost guaranteed score. It would seem worth the risk since it can't get too much worse than that.
