Prayer update

Once again I just want to say thanks to everyone who took the time to say a quick prayer.
As some on here know I'm am amputee. Phantom pain is no joke and even thoughts it's been almost 20 years since losing my leg(auto accident) my phantom limb still burns and aches like it's on fire. This combined with the pain from normal wear and tear on my residual limb has made for some painful nights, but I've always been able to manage. The one thing that can make this worse is stress, but this time it's more then just the normal stress of everyday life.....a yet to be fully diagnosed health issue is causing my body to break down.
They need to still run some more scans($$$), but something is causing tenderness in my groin, pain radiantly traveling through my hips and thigh and causing pain in my extremities. It all started about 3 months ago when all of sudden it felt like a mule kicked me right in the most sensitive spot for a male. Though honestly, this pain would be manageable if it were not for the PHANTOM PAIN that it seemed to add to. To add to all of this, I haven't been able to wear my prosthetic, thus leading to not being able to maintain my daily duties. Which adds stress and thus the pain.
Tomorrow, I'll see another specialist and hopefully then we'll have a better idea of how to attack this, but as anyone who has ever dealt with a drastic change in health the idea that this is as "good as it gets" and you'll never feel like yourself again is quite scary and as I said before, it's not as if my prior self was truly pain free, but up until now I was always able to maintain a pretty good life, until now, the added pain is just making life pretty miserable and I'm having trouble seeing the forest through the trees.
Thanks for the kind words and providing me a place to vent a bit. Like others I truly believe in the power of prayer and positive thoughts. The fact that many on this board would take the time to say a quick prayer or send some positive vibes to someone that y'all have never physically met means the world to me.

Hey David, I will continue to pray for you knowing how pain can take a toll on you but not imagining how phantom pain could be. I know God will not give us more than we can bare but it feels that way while the pain is kicking our butts. I will be praying you get relief an your doctor finds a way to help you in Jesus Name Amen.

Ask and your prayers will be answered! I would recommend scanning to determine what is causing your pain. It is critical medically to determine causes ASAP. God bless and go Tigers!
