It's been a long week for this Tiger...
Saturday morning I’m downstairs about to cook breakfast and I hear my wife Dena call out to me….I find her in the floor and she’s had an allergic reaction to a medicine we got at the doctor on Friday. I call 911 and a good friend of mine and we take her to the hospital. They get her feeling better and we go home around lunch time.
Sunday afternoon I come home from church…she stayed at home because she wasn’t feeling good and I’m folding laundry with her in the room and she says her heart is racing too fast. I check her and it’s racing fast…way too fast and I get her to sit down and calm down. I got her in the bed and went to brush my teeth and she started calling out for me again. I come back in the room and she doesn’t recognize me or know where she is and she couldn’t get up….in fact she couldn’t move and she had a strange look on her face and was mumbling. I called 911 and we transported her to the hospital. They did test after test on her all night long and eventually found out she’s so anemic it was causing all of these problems. They gave her a blood transfusion and we are scheduled to go back to the hematologist this week for follow up to determine why this happened and what we should be doing next. Crazy weekend.
As if that wasn't enough....Today my father in law...Clemson class of 1957 leaves my house in Atlanta after coming here to see my wife/their daughter and heads home to Athens GA. He gets in a car wreck on GA 316 and both he and my mother in law have to be admitted to the hospital. My father in law was released tonight and we brought him home to his house in Athens but my mother in law was admitted has MANY injuries from the wreck.
It's been a long long weekend/week for this weary Tiger.

The Bible says that a man will not be tested beyond what he can bear. Our Lord must really think a lot of you. I know it's hard to see now, but all of this is a part of His plan for your life. Be strong, and as others have said, lean on our Lord.
