Cornell Powell drops?

So I could not watch the game yesterday as I live in MN with Comcast and cannot get the ACCN.
So I had to loosely follow while my wife and I replaced the actuator in her car. What a pain to replace a $45 part but worth saving $1000.
So I digress, I read a post where someone said he had 6 drops. Was this the case? If so, that is just god awful. I saw his TD which was nice, but he seems to hurt more than help the offense.
In my opinion, Powell needs to be playing less reps and we need to be prepping the youngsters.

I don’t recall any drops by Powell in fact I’ve been pleasantly surprised by him and think he is having a good fifth year. Ladson has multiple drops per game it seems, not sure if you just mixed up the names by accident or what but the post only makes sense if it’s about Ladson.

Maybe six drops all year, but not in one game.

"Targets" minus "receptions" does not equated to dropped passes. Trevor was off target a lot yesterday and most of those "non-completions" were high/off target throws. One high throw darn near injured Cornell.

Powell had one drop if you want to call it that - poorly thrown ball by TL that Powell had to stretch up high and try and grab but came down on his back/shoulder and ball came out. Other than that thought Powell played well.

This season has proven...

that Cornell Powell and Frank Ladson are not suitable replacements for Tee Higgins and Justin Ross. Powell only seems to be able to catch passes that are totally uncontested, and Ladson is more apt to drop ANY pass than to catch it. From here it looks like we’ll need others to step up (Ngata, Spector, Williams, the tight ends) if we are to have much success in the passing game.

I would have liked to have seen Ajou Ajou get some touches yesterday.

No he's been fine. Some others hav some drops and there were some throws yesterday that were off target throws you dont usually see that made catching a problem

He didn’t have 6 drops but I’m glad he’s a senior and will no longer take snaps from more talented players.

Cornell Powell has been a pleasant surprise and bright spot

... this year.
He’s not Tee Higgins nor Justin Ross, but after all these years who among us expected that of him?
I didn’t see him “drop” any passes yesterday.
As others have noted, I saw any number of poorly thrown passes in the game.
