there is the "lack of institution control", should've nailed them for that over Whitney Gate. Fits swings and misses a lot, but he has also broken some stories that turned out to be absolutely true. For example, he broke the story about Garcia's hotel room antics in Atlanta.
If this story turns out to be true, I'd bet a lot of money I can guess the name of at least one individual involved. Hint: he plays defensive back.

have lost respect from far too much of the public, especially given the explosion of sites like Fits. Commentary is one thing; vague hints of illegal activity is another. Investigative journalism requires fair and impartial investigation and reporting of sourceable facts. Had they conducted thorough research, then presented the results objectively and matter-of-factly, there would have been some credulance. Therefore, one must conclude that the article was merely an attempt to create controversy and attract readership...in other words it becomes tabloid trash. The problem is the large numbers of people who read such and regard it as truth.
