To TigerNation

Dec 8, 2017, 5:58 PM

Occured to me today as im watching all the concerns in the middle east, the back and forth of hate and grim outlooks by everyone concerning our president, how our country is ran, how men have been treating women etc. nothing in life is ever easy.

That being said, and being mindful and respectful for how many true issues there are out there....im very thankful for my family, health and being a tigers fan - which always has me hopeful and excited to support a group of young men, year in year out, without predjuidice or political concerns and for once focusing on something good and true. A school that formed my life as a youth and now cheering with pride for a tradition that we all can be proud of.

A great time to be a tiger was always true, its just a little more rewarding these days and im thankful for it.

I'll be 40 in a week and I realized tonight if there was a three year span of incredible Clemson football for me to experience it's best that it's happened in these last three years when I need the inspiration and something to keep my mind off the stressful things in life.

I turn 65 this year and never expected a run like this. It's amazing. In 1981 I wasn't even thinking National Championship till the season was almost over. Thenjoy the powers that be began pushing violations and probation, and that, as it was meant to do, took the wind out of the sails. Otherwise it might have been like this then.

A wonderful post. I’m 62 and the older I get and as I watch our world ever changing, in most ways not for the better, I worry for my children and grandchildren. I have 10 grandchildren with 2 of those being fosters and they range from 18 to 2. I wonder what kind of world we are leaving them and at the same time, I can cut off the news and watch their interactions with friends and family. My children were raised in the stands of Death Valley as were many of the grandchildren. I realize we can’t change the world, but we have such a large impact on other generations through our family. I’ve always considered the Clemson family as part of mine even though I’ve actually met or know very few. The administration, coaches and our players are great role models for several generations past and present and those students and players have and will continue to contribute to our families, neighborhoods, State and Country. I am truly blessed for my family and my Clemson family. I’m proud of both and hope they all succeed.

Excellent post fam! I thought I was the only person that felt that way. I get true joy from few things. God, family, true friends and Clemson Football are at the top of a very short list.

I can’t think of a time when it has become so important to support President Trump. He has done wonders with the economy and needs our prayers as we live in a very dangerous word. If anything at least Repect the Office. And as a nation we need to pull together.

Those of you who severed in WW II know the world is a powder keg waiting to explode. We need to be on our knees praying for our country and our leaders.

If everybody went back 20 or 30 years I believe we all would have something we would regret or be ashamed. Let’s look forward and stop digging up so much of the past.

God please bless our country and unite us together. Amen
