rain, lots of rain, and wind, and more rain...

pick one, none of them are good for the game...

It clearly says not to use that map to make decisions. So...

it is obvious then that it will be clear and cool weather for the game. Perfect night for football and hot chocolate! Did I read the map correctly?

Go Tigers!!!

For 4 bucks. Also, get in line AGAIN and get your own hot water #######. BTW we just scored on a pick six while you were in line. You're welcome!

I would not use that map to make decisions

Sep 25, 2022, 10:35 AM [ in reply to Re: OK all you weather watchers ]

I would use an official map

Because weather prediction maps

have historically been so accurate. Where's the cone of uncertainty? Can't have a good map without a cone.

Could be more rain Friday than Saturday. Weather underground website showing like 1.5 inches Friday right now and 0.5 Saturday. But path may be to our East and out us on western side of it with potential of 60 mph winds and gusts up to 70 mph. It may not be so much the rain but wind if this Ian path holds true. At 60 mph winds you run risk of power outages, trees down, etc. The next 3-4 days of path info should tell us more specifically if Upstate going to get big impact. At least we have a good record in this stuff vs Notre Dame and it not impacting Big Ben and crew on defense then!

Don't need one. All the hot air on TNET will suffice.

power source then we might be able to turn on the video board. That should be enough light to play the game. We might need a few extension cords however.

Sep 25, 2022, 10:45 AM

How bad does it have to be to play on Sunday or postpone the game?

Looks like it might be gone by time the game starts, but the field could be awful.

Gameday might be funked however.

Flip a coin. That's about all the forecasters do. Look at the spaghetti tracks, about 39 ways to say, see I was correct.

A 7 day forecast is an educated guess at best. No decisions should ever be made on a 7 day forecast. 3-4 days out forecasts start becoming more reliable but even those can be off. 2 days out they have a very good idea. I’ll give a rip about the forecast starting on Wednesday.

for SC forecast. West coast of FL could still have significant impacts … pretty from Sarasota to Destin. My guess is landfall little North of Cedar Key in Big Bend preserve.
