This is my Jack Russell Terrier Cesar. The first photo is Cesar and dad and I going down to Miami Florida in 2015 to watch the Tigers play Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl, doesn't he look so human like with his arm resting next to the window as he looks at the traffic pass by on I-95 LOL.The second photo is Cesar in my dad's bass tracker boat going fishing,he loves to bark at the fish and get caught around the fishing line LOL...
Yep! Me and Daddy were throw lining in the Edisto one day. One decided to fall in the boat with us. He landed right on top of the boat box. Daddy took his paddle and pinned that sucker down and cut his head off with his knife. End of story.
before I gave it up 30+ years ago, I was bass fishing in Sparkleberry Swamp, Lake Marion, ~across from Stumphole Landing. I saw ripples on the water from about 30 feet away, getting ever closer.
A mocassin tried to climb into the front of my bass boat, whilst I was sitting up there running the trolling motor! I had to hit a Home Run with a boat paddle to finally get him to leave the boat, and the world, permanently.
On that same trip, I saw a pair of 10 ft+ gators swimming through there as well. I gave them a REAL wide berth.
AND, came within a foot of bumping into a downed tree that had an ENORMOUS Hornet's nest perched in a limb about 10 feet above the water.
After all that crap, I decided fishing was too hazardous for my health, sold the boat, and retook up golf.
As far as fishing these days, I just live precariously through the Spud's almost daily fishing posts.
You know, come to think of it, he may be responsible for these vertigo attacks I have been experiencing lately! Having to turn my head sideways to look at his fishes on a routine basis can't be helping.
