Possible injury

Feb 21, 2014, 1:03 PM

On twitter, I just saw a tweet from @QuackingTiger talking about "Possibility that one of Clemson's top offensive talent could have a serious injury." and that it "Would be serious blow to team next yr." He says it isn't anyone on the OL.

He's trying to confirm it before he tweets it out. Let's hope it isn't true. A few have said it's Dye

Yeah, I just read that… Let's hope it's not as bad as it sounds

I can't imagine who it would be then

Feb 21, 2014, 1:06 PM

Unless it was Cole. But aren't the QBs in sentry gun non-contact mode.

6 months to rehab for whoever it is

Feb 21, 2014, 1:09 PM

I would think anything short of ACL would leave enough time for rehab.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Achillies is worse than the ACL

Feb 21, 2014, 1:13 PM

Most people never get back to 100% after an achillies. Hope it's only a partial tear.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

How long would rehab last?

Feb 21, 2014, 1:17 PM

Any possibility he could be like Sam Cooper, Leggett and Kelly and be back mid way through the season?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

He could get back

Feb 21, 2014, 1:20 PM

The problem is that if he tore the entire thing, the scar tissue that forms during the healing process robs athleticism and explosiveness. Plus, it's apparently one of those life changing types of pains that is always in the back of your mind when you try and push off. Hope it's just a partial tear.

McCullough can be our big back short yardage guy...

Feb 21, 2014, 1:12 PM

Davidson our speed guy, brooks our versatile back (needs improvement). We really need oglesby to qualify and bulk up so he'll be ready to contribute.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

McCullough and Gallman and I also want to see what this

Feb 21, 2014, 1:59 PM

Guy Kurt Fleming is going to look like at 6'0 225 that might be the Shocker for short yards.

Dang...this is terrible news...hope everything is ok...***

The question how far behind 100% would it leave him by game 1

Feb 21, 2014, 1:19 PM

Have to imagine it would be pretty far back. Not what we needed with FSU and UGA so early.
