Why is it that we lose to an undefeated number 2 FSU team that everyone says will be in at national championship game a month ago and Oregon lost to a 2 loss Stanford team that is not in the top ten last week but they are ahead of us? The game was 3 vs 5 like ours was where the number 5 team beat the number 3 team but yet they are still higher than us. That doesn't make sense.

us from being ranked higher:

1. The beatdown we took at the hands of FSU.

2. We are not in the SEC and don't benefit from the non-stop propaganda of ESPN/sports media and the resulting mystique it creates.

Right or wrong, both of those things are a factor in the minds of many voters on some level.

we lost at home by 37. I think the polls still have us overvalued.....if we find a way to beat SC then I'll be thinking we deserve our current ranking.
