My prediction

May 3, 2022, 1:11 PM

Overall this is a good thing for the dnc. They will get run out of this for a month or 2.

But they will do what they always do, overplay their hand and lose any momentum they once had.

They did this with all the blm riots. They did this with Kavanaugh. Dating all the way back to when they made a DNC rally out of a funeral. They usually take any public sentiment they once have and take their actions too far.

Not sure how or what they will do, but it will eventually not play well by the time of the elections.

on the list for consideration by decision makers, but I definitely think it hurts Republicans, from a pure political standpoint. At least in the short term.

Would you mind explaining why?

I would be surprised if it had a major impact, one way or the other, in 2022 elections. IMO, the more interesting impact will be on party coalitions over the next 10-15 years.

To my mind, it would remove the single greatest wedge

issue to increase voter turnout for Republicans, and give liberals/Democrats more cause to turn out to vote.

Polling suggests many did not believe the Court would

actually over turn it and therefore were not terribly concerned about the issue.

This ruling change that dynamic.
