I wholeheartedly agree with the decision. Clemson is better off without Jack Leggett. |

It was probably the right decision, but I have mixed feelings. While the program has been in decline for a number of years, part of me believes that Jack could turn things around. But overall, it's just time to move on without him. |

It was probably the wrong decision. While I can understand why some would want to let Coach Leggett go, I also think he deserved more time because of all of his prior accomplishments and / or think he is still the best person to lead Clemson back to elite status. |

I completely disagree with the decision. Jack's job security shouldn't have even been in question. |

I do not see how the fanbase can be further divided. You have the bandwagon that supports Leggett the coach, and knows how he works. You have the other bandwagon that supports Clemson baseball, and will accept changes to return to the highest standard and expectation of winning.

had digressed and that it was necessary to make the change. Most of us would have loved for Jack to have continued as the coach and turned things around. Unfortunately Clemson BB over the last 5 years was not trending that way. It was a painful but necessary change.

Problem with liking someone as a person and a coach is that coaching is business. Results for anyone in a business is winning or profits. No one really disliked coach Leggett but the results were not up to Clemson standards. Best is the standard and we were not getting the best out of the players.

Leggett had the opportunity to turn things around. Unfortunately, whatever improvements were made, if any, were not enough to increase wins, advance further into conference tournament play, and earn another trip to Omaha, Nebraska.

2011-2013 It would've been the 2nd option, 2009 or 2010 it would've been the 3rd option, and before that it would've been the 4th. Funny how things progress.
