This is not a political post. Just sharing a TMZ video/article of Trevor Lawrence after the event saying he had an awesome time, the food was good, and he hoped to return a few more times, all with a huge smile on his face like I haven’t seen all season outside of right after winning the championship. I’m glad he’s enjoying the victory and everything that goes with it!

Also worth noting that Trevor detoured from returning to the bus to greet fans and take pictures. He is a great ambassador for this university and for college football in general.

Good, I’m glad he did. I’m also grateful for those that stayed home and kept to their personal values.
I’ve got no problem with players going or staying, I’m ashamed of those on here who think they need to silence someone because they didn’t go. These players are not beholden to anyone here - they are people with their own thoughts and can express as much.

And I'm sure if some of the guys refused to go see Obama (or any Dem POTUS in the future) you'd feel the same way. Wouldn't be anyone on the left with an opinion about their personal decision whatsoever.

Regardless of where you stand politically, I wish Trump would have left it to where the focus/spotlight was on the celebration of Clemson's National Championship just like every other President has in the past. Instead, I feel like he had to turn the celebration into a political statement.

I wouldn't want the celebration to have any political undertones, but I'm curious as to how you think that he turned it into a political statement.
If anything, he explained that the shutdown affected the menu.. But other than that, after watching the entire presentation and speech, I don't remember a single partisan point.

He really looks so happy there. Glad they all had a great time. I noticed in the video that Brent and the D line got stuck in the back of the room. They should have been front row!!
